About the opportunity | Ko te āheinga:Mana Ake provides school-based support to promote wellbeing and deliver mental health support for our primary and intermediate aged tamariki (Year 0-8) residing in Kahungunu ki te Wairoa. Mana Ake is about giving our tamariki access to skills and strategies to enhance their resilience, wairua and mana so they may thrive wherever they live, learn and play.

The role of the Kaitautoko is to provide administrative oversight and, coordination of service provision for the Mana Ake service team in consultation with the Oranga Hinengaro Team Coordinator.

The Kaitautoko will be responsible for receiving and tracking referrals into the service, corresponding with the referrer, administrative support to the service and, supporting the delivery of the Mana Ake service.

The purpose of the Mobile Nursing service is to increase individual’s access to health and social services while also supporting them to maintain their health and wellbeing by promoting healthy lifestyles and environments for whānau throughout the Wairoa District. 


The Community Support Worker - Health will be responsible for ensuring that individuals/whānau achieve positive health outcomes by working in collaboration with the Mobile Nursing Registered Nurses.

About the opportunity | Ko te āheinga:
The purpose of the Mobile Nursing service is to increase individual’s access to health and social services while also supporting them to maintain their health and wellbeing by promoting healthy lifestyles and environments for whanau throughout the Wairoa District.

The Mobile Registered Nurse must be skilled in health assessment across the life span, long-term conditions, diabetes, respiratory, heart disease and support end of life and advanced care planning.

The Mobile Nursing Service contributes towards improved prevention and self-care of the Wairoa population through supporting whanau to manage and improve their own health and health decision-making. The Registered Nurse will work to deliver care that is coordinated and integrated with other health and social service providers to support individuals/whanau to achieve positive health outcomes
